A whimsical rom-com, This Beautiful Fantastic embraces its warm-hearted sense of the oddball as it follows the unlikely friendship between a reclusive, agoraphobic, young woman (the charming Jessica Brown Findlay) and the grumpy old widower who lives next door (an equally endearing Tom Wilkinson). When her landlord insists she sort her neglected garden or be evicted, she has to deal with her fear of nature and get help from her neighbour, who – of course – happens to be a talented horticulturist and a tough taskmaster.
