EIFF 2021 returns in a new and innovative hybrid form this summer. Championing Scottish and UK filmmaking, the Festival will include physical screenings and events indoors in Filmhouse Cinema and outdoors with Film Fest in the City in St Andrew Square, in a rich and diverse programme celebrating the return to cinemas and the collective cinema experience.

The festival will also be available to audiences across the UK through its online platform, Filmhouse at Home, where alongside the films viewers can access Q&As and hear first-hand the insights, experiences and passions of directors, filmmakers and actors.

The EIFF Press team will assist you in finding your way through the festival and handle any interview requests.

EIFF press accreditation will include:

  • Access to the online Press area of the EIFF website
  • Access to online Press & Industry screenings
  • The opportunity to arrange one-on-one interviews with filmmakers

Please complete our online accreditation form

EIFF welcomes applications from bloggers, however we will evaluate your blog's readership/followers before allocating you a pass.

Normally we accept no more than two accreditation requests per company (excluding crew members). However, we will evaluate each request on a case by case basis.

If you are planning to be in Edinburgh and want to attend a physical screening you may be required to purchase a ticket. Please reach out to the EIFF Press team for further information: [email protected]
