Leaning into the Wind
Part of the Documentaries Strand
Some 16 years after the elegantly meditative film, Rivers and Tides, acclaimed artist Andy Goldsworthy and director Thomas Riedelsheimer are reunited to look again at Goldsworthy’s unique, tactile and unusually site-specific work that celebrates and relishes harmony in natural surroundings. From the mud floor of a remote Brazilian villager's hut through to the Scottish forest near his home, the film documents Goldsworthy at work in wonderful locations and also celebrating his kinship with nature as the now 60 year-old climbs through hedgerows and trees.
This film is supported by German Films.
