The prolific Takashi Miike delivers a wonderfully crazy sequel to his live-action manga adaption, The Mole Song: Undercover Agent Reiji (2013). But if you missed the original, the first few minutes of this sequel update you to the mad and messy adventures of undercover cop Reiji (Toma Ikuta) before he heads off into an even crazier adventure involving a Yakuza boss and his loopy daughter. Gender politics take a back seat in this oddball universe, but it is nothing less than colourful and wild.
