In Person: Lizzie Borden

An intimate dialogue with the director of the feminist classic Born in Flames (1983). In 2016 Lizzie Borden came to Edinburgh for the first time in forty years to present a rare screening of her first feature Regrouping (1976). This year she returns with Born in Flames, a film that continues to inspire audiences with its radical and uncompromising feminist politics. In this special illustrated discussion with Black Box programmer Kim Knowles, Borden looks back on her work and her relationship with both feminism and science fiction.
