Kathmandu Lullaby (Katmandú, un espejo en el cielo)
Part of the Once Upon a Time in Spain Strand
Written by Bollaín, Kathmandu Lullaby was inspired by the real-life experiences of the extraordinary Victòria Subirana, as detailed in her autobiographical novel, A Teacher in Kathmandu. Shot over eight weeks on location in Nepal, this absorbing drama features a strong central performance from Verónica Echegui (who recently appeared in hit TV shows Fortitude and Trust) and striking, atmospheric cinematography by Antonio Riestra.
