In Person: Pollyanna McIntosh
Scottish writer, director and actor Pollyanna McIntosh, most recently seen in her starring role as Jadis in AMC’s hit post-apocalyptic TV series The Walking Dead, has been involved in independent filmmaking since she was 16 years old with her first paid job as a stoner in Irvine Welsh’s The Acid House, before she went on to star in Filth (2013). She is perhaps best known for her work in genre cinema, including Exam (EIFF 2009) and Let Us Prey (EIFF 2014). EIFF is thrilled to be presenting The Woman (2011) together with her brand-new film Darlin’, which Pollyanna wrote, directed and stars in, and to welcome her to Edinburgh to talk about her work. [15]
