Cinemas may be closed but that hasn’t stopped our EIFF Young Programmers from their mission to connect young audiences with great films. Whether you want to watch films, study film, or just learn more about the – there is something for everyone with EIFF Youth this February. And it’s all FREE.

They are hosting an exciting online weekend of film from 26-28 February which includes a watch party series called Woman with a Movie Camera - featuring three landmark films from three iconic women film makers.  They are also running a Film Course Showcase – designed to arm future film students with all they need to know about how and where to study film in Scotland. WOMEN WITH A MOVIE CAMERA WATCH PARTIES:

In partnership with BFI Player, the EIFF Young Programmers will be hosting watch parties on our Instagram. Just start the film and connect with us online at the advertised start time.

Tune into our Instagram account at the advertised time to see the Young Programmers introduce the films, find out fun and informative facts and tell us what you think by tagging us @eiffyouth or using #yourfutureinfilm!

FILM COURSE SHOWCASE:

Thinking of studying film or tv but don’t know where to start? Make sure to catch our EIFF Youth Film Course Showcase for free on our Youtube channel – where key unis and colleges give you the low down on their undergraduate courses and you can ask them questions in the live Q&A.

ACCESS & DIGITAL BURSARIES:

EIFF Youth is committed to being accessible to everyone.  Films have closed captions/subtitles and our Film Course Showcase will have subtitles and BSL interpretation.
