Commissioned as part of BBC Four's birthday celebrations in 2007,  will appear on the big screen on Saturday 1 July, 1.15pm at Filmhouse, the home of Edinburgh International Film Festival. 

This special event is presented by EIFF in partnership with - a brand new festival of literature, music, art and film in Ian Rankin and Rebus' hometown of Edinburgh and also launches . Further Filmhouse Guest Programmers will be announced in the coming months.

This event is part of , a weekend of literature, music, art and film in Ian Rankin and Rebus’s hometown of Edinburgh, which takes place from 30th June to 2nd July 2017. The three-day festival, curated by Rankin, marks the thirtieth anniversary of John Rebus, one of crime fiction’s greatest and best-loved creations.
