DISTRIBUTION REWIRED is a 2-day event which has been running during EIFF since 2015. It is dedicated to a more creative approach to distribution featuring new developments in the distribution landscape like cinema-on-demand and event cinema and with an emphasis on VOD platforms, digital and direct distribution.
Sitting within the two day event is a marketplace for pre-selected projects. We select 10 narrative feature fiction and documentary projects which are, at least, in post-production and are looking at the options for a more creative approach to distribution. Support is available for producers to attend and present their projects to a number of distribution representatives.
