In this charming, funny and engaging comedy drama, Sasha Li (Anna Akana) is a spoiled Chinese-American fashion-school graduate whose privileged life is bankrolled by her rich father, Teddy (Richard Ng). Exasperated, Teddy withdraws his daughter’s trust fund and forces her to return to China to work in his toy factory. Director Emily Ting (Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, EIFF 2015) draws on her background for this amusing story.
