My Pure Land

This striking drama is based on a remarkable true story, told in partial flashbacks, about how a mother and her two daughters try to protect their remote Pakistan home, picking up machine guns to fight off a virtual army of armed men. In the best traditions of Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), the women do all they can to survive and with their supply of bullets dwindling they still refuse to give in.
