In Person: Bernard Hill

Perhaps most widely known for his role as King Théoden of Rohan in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy and Captain Edward J. Smith in James Cameron’s hugely successful Titanic, acclaimed film, television and stage actor Bernard Hill initially rose to fame with his role as Yosser Hughes in Alan Bleasdale’s seminal Boys from the Blackstuff in 1982. Also starring in Bellman and True (screening as part of our HandMade Films retrospective, p45), we are delighted to welcome Hill to Edinburgh to discuss his long and illustrious career.
