*EIFF TALENT LAB 2021 - APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED*

Since we started the lab in 2011, we have welcomed 275 writers, directors and producers along to the festival. This year will be like no other. Though the lab will take place virtually in its entirety, the opportunities to connect with industry professionals and peers will remain as the solid foundation of the programme.

At the centre of the EIFF Talent Lab is an invaluable afternoon of bespoke 1-2-1 advice and information sessions with experienced industry insiders, all with the aim of honing skills and building confidence within a new generation of filmmakers.

EIFF invites Scottish, UK and international directors, producers and screenwriters to apply for this unique chance to discuss their projects and ideas with a selection of invited industry professionals including sales agents, executive producers, literary agents, story editors and financiers.

To balance out the intensive nature of the usual EIFF Talent Lab programme, EIFF Talent Lab 2021 will take place in two parts between 13th-15th and 20th-21st August 2021 (inclusive).

Selected applicants will receive full festival accreditation.

Successful applicants will be notified by Monday the 19th of July 2021 at the latest.
