In 2020 we had to make the sad decision to cancel the 74th Edinburgh International Film Festival due to the pandemic. This was a very difficult time, and we are so grateful to everyone who supported EIFF and our sister cinemas Filmhouse and Belmont Filmhouse.
We are so happy to be able to bring the Festival back to you in 2021! As we are operating at a significantly reduced capacity, we still need your help to continue the EIFF’s legacy.

If you wish to make a donation, you can donate via Paypal. This will prompt you to give to our parent charity, the Centre for the Moving Image, and all donations will support EIFF at this difficult time.
You can also increase your charitable donation, thanks to the Gift Aid scheme that allows us to claim an additional 25p for every pound you donate, at no extra cost to you.
