From 26-28 February 2021, our EIFF Young Programmers brought you an online weekend of free films, featuring three landmark films from three iconic women filmmakers!

 

WOMEN WITH A MOVIE CAMERA WATCH PARTIES

In partnership with BFI Player, the EIFF Young Programmers hosted watch parties on our Instagram. They filmed their own introductions for each film, and we posted fun and informative facts that you enjoyed while you watched! All films were available to watch on  BFI Player Subscription service, and we offered a special free trial. You can view the digiflyer for the event here

FILM COURSE SHOWCASE

For future film students, we hosted the EIFF Youth Film Course Showcase for free on our Youtube channel, where we were joined by key Scottish unis and colleges for the lowdown on their film courses. There was also a live Q&A at the end where they answered your questions! The session featured BSL interpretation and subtitles.
