Submissions for the 2019 Edinburgh International Film Festival open on Wednesday 31 October 2018.

Our 73rd edition takes place in Edinburgh from 19 to 30 June to 2019, and you can be a part of it. You can submit your film digitally via Withoutabox, or post a DVD screener to our Submissions team. Click here for more information on how to submit your film.

There are three submissions deadlines:

Earlybird - Thursday 13 December 2018

SHORT – £20.00 / FEATURE - £75.00

Regular - Thursday 17 January 2019

SHORT – £30.00 / FEATURE - £85.00

Late - Thursday 7 February 2019

SHORT – £35.00 / FEATURE - £90.00

In 2018, EIFF screened many exceptional films received through open submissions, including The Parting Glass, Blood Fest, Humor Me, In Darkness, We the Animals and Supa Modo, as well as Nevada, which went on to win our Award for Best Short Film, and Take Rabbit, which won our McLaren Award for Best British Animation.
